Weatherproof horn-type speaker
The Wheelock ST-H15-B is a re-entrant type horn with an integral line matching transformer for connection to an amplifier with 25, 70, or 100 V output.
Two screw terminals are provided for wire connection, and a screwdriver adjustable rotary switch provides wattage tap selection from 1-15 watts in increments of 3 dB.
Maximum power is 15 watts RMS. Frequency response is 375-10 kHz. The horn has a measured sound pressure level (SPL) of 121 dB, @ 1 meter on axis @ 15 watts. Sound dispersion is 110 degrees.
The unit incorporates a horizontally and vertically adjustable mounting base, and has painted metal weatherproof construction.
A gasketed conduit interface adapter is provided for hardwiring with conduit. A clear plastic shield is supplied for non-conduit applications. The operating temperature range is -35 degrees C to +60 degrees C (-30 degrees F to +140 degrees F).
